Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of TruckTaxCenter and its services.
Effective date: August 25, 2026.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TAB Inc ("TAB Inc," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the TruckTaxCenter brand and website at trucktaxcenter.com. By accessing this website, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Our services
TruckTaxCenter helps motor carriers, owner-operators, and the businesses that serve them with trucking-tax filing and related compliance technology, including:
- Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) registration and renewal;
- IRS Form 2290 (Heavy Vehicle Use Tax) e-filing, amendments, and VIN corrections;
- IRS Form 8849 (Schedule 6) refund claims; and
- business solutions such as IRS e-file certification guidance, application development and maintenance, and AI chat-agent services.
You may register or file directly with the applicable government systems (for example, UCR at www.ucr.gov, or IRS e-file) without using our service. Specific filing applications may present their own additional terms at the point of filing.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business you register or file for. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
3. Fees
- The total you pay includes a TruckTaxCenter (TAB Inc) service fee plus any official government fee or tax (for example, the UCR fee or the IRS HVUT). The service fee is our charge and is separate from and in addition to the government fee or tax.
- Service fees are shown to you before you pay.
- If you pay by credit or debit card, a separate card processing fee may be added and displayed before checkout. Paying by bank account (ACH) may avoid the card processing fee.
4. Payment authorization
Payments are processed by our payment provider (such as Stripe or PayPal). By submitting a payment you authorize us and our processor to charge the selected payment method for the amount shown. For bank (ACH) payments, you authorize an electronic debit from the account you provide in accordance with the mandate presented at checkout; ACH payments typically settle within 1–3 business days, and your filing is submitted or activated when payment clears.
5. Auto-renewal (optional)
Where offered and if you enroll, you authorize us to automatically prepare and submit your filing for the following period and to charge your saved payment method for the applicable government fee plus our service fee (and any card processing fee) at that time. Auto-renewal continues until you cancel it. You can pause or cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account; cancellation applies to future renewals that have not yet been processed.
6. Refunds
Government fees and taxes are generally non-refundable once a filing has been submitted to the UCR Plan or the IRS. Our service fees are non-refundable once we have begun processing your filing, except where required by law or at our discretion for filings we were unable to submit. If you believe an error occurred, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including EIN, USDOT number, classification, VIN(s), and vehicle count. Incorrect information may cause your registration or return to be rejected or non-compliant. We prepare and submit filings based on the information you supply.
8. No guarantee; disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular result, approval, processing time, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Registration and filing outcomes and timing are controlled by the UCR Plan, the National Registration System, the IRS, and applicable government authorities.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAB Inc and its owners, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount of the service fee you paid for the filing giving rise to the claim.
10. Prohibited use
You agree not to misuse the service, submit fraudulent information, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the service in violation of any law.
11. Changes to the service or Terms
We may modify the service or these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect when posted, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to TAB Inc at [email protected] or 702-984-3780.
