TAB Inc is a private, third-party company that provides Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) filing assistance for a service fee. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Unified Carrier Registration Plan, the UCR Board, the National Registration System (NRS), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any federal, state, or local government agency.

Private, for-profit service

TAB Inc (operating at taboncloud.com) is a privately owned business. The services we offer are performed by a private company for a fee and are not a government service. Our role is to help motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies prepare and submit their UCR registration.

Our fees are separate from and in addition to the official UCR fees

The amount you pay through TAB Inc includes a service fee charged by TAB Inc that is different from, separate from, and in addition to the official Unified Carrier Registration fees established by the FMCSA and the UCR Plan. Our service fee is our charge for preparing and submitting your registration; the underlying UCR fee is the government fee set by law.

You are not required to use TAB Inc

Use of TAB Inc is entirely optional. You are not required to use our service to register or renew your UCR. You may register or renew your Unified Carrier Registration, or obtain a copy of your Confirmation of Registration, directly with the National Registration System or your base state without paying any third-party service fee.
